Shailene Woodley is a American actor, activist, and writer. Woodley became famous for her performance as Alexandra "Alex" King, an teen suffering from drug addiction in The Descendants. She continued to impress after her acclaimed performance on The Descendants. Shailene has been able to get her name in the Hollywood world at a young age during her career, which in and of itself is a great achievement. The path she took began with TV and commercials however, she quickly moved to Hollywood movie roles. She's won numerous acting prizes for her skills like her nomination for the MTV Movie Awards and People's Choice Awards. In addition, Woodley was nominated for other awards including BAFTA Awards. Golden Globe Awards. Primetime Emmy Awards. Shailene has been an actor for many years, but she's also an active environmentalist. Together with her mom, she cofounded All it Takes as a not-for-profit in the year 2010. For co-founding All it Takes, she was awarded the Entertainment Industry Environmental Leadership Award in the 20th Anniversary Global Green Environmental Awards in 2016.
