Andrea Joy Cook better known as A.J. Cook is one of Canada's most popular actresses. Her most well-known role is her role in the CBS police drama Criminal Minds where she portrays a Supervisory Special Agent known by the name of Jennifer Jareau. The show was on air since 2005, and as of 2017, it's in its thirteenth season. Cook, who was born in Oshawa in Canada's Ontario province and showed early signs of interest in acting. Her acting career began by playing a character in the TV series Goosebumps. In 1999 she made her acting debut in the drama The Virgin Suicides. It wasn't a huge success. Following the film her appearance, she was able to be seen in the American Canadian drama Higher Ground as one of its lead characters. Her first appearance on the crime-police show Criminal Minds a few years following that, and it brought her recognition and accolades. The degree she earned is in fashion design, which she obtained from University of Colombia. She took the plunge to become a fitness model when she met another fitness fanatic in the gym. The concept of female bodybuilders remains a bit of a novelty in the country she hails from since women's muscles are not considered attractive in Colombia. Sagra, despite this started lifting weights and adding the muscle mass to her already thin frame. Soon she was taking part in fitness contests and gaining fans on social media across the globe.
